Of these, the most useful is Path of the Necromancer which places you outside the enterance to Scholomance – just a short 2 minute flight from the enterance to Stratholm for farming the Baron’s mount. This portal brings you out close to the ruins of Nethergarde Keep. The other portal is at the enterance to the Mage Tower and is to the Blasted Lands. That drops you at the Dark portal and is the closest point to reach the Tempest Keep instances and The Eye raid instance.
Just a short step away from you is the portal to the Burning Crusade-era Hellfire Pennisular. Waygates are one-way portals to specific points in Draenor, with a maximum of three open at once with a Level 3 building.Īctivating a Waygate costs 25 Ogre Waystone and Deactivating a Waygate costs 10 Ogre Waystone. The Level 3 version of this building is unlocked by completing the Finding Your Waystones achievement, which requires you to collect 500 Ogre Waystones from killing Ogres in Draenor. Level 3 - Unlocks access to a third Ogre Waygate for a total of 3.Level 2 - Unlocks access to a second Ogre Waygate for a total of 2.Also occasionally triggers Runes of Power during combat. These waystones can be used to power an Ogre Waygate of your choice on Draenor.
